Live.com is Live

After going testing for 6 months, at last Live Search part of Microsoft Windows Live is live. Ok, first impression, there is not so much difference compare to well-known our Google search. But there is several difference UI that might increase our user experience on web searching.

In Google, if you want to do advanced search, click Advanced Search will bring you to a lot of field configuration of Advanced Search (which of course need to be like that), but Windows Live go with another approach, although offering same thing. By clicking Advanced Search on Live Search, will bring you small popup window near the Search Textbox. All the field configuration is put in tab display. Everytime you change the configuration, it will reflected by adding some string in the search textbox. One minor thing that when you click outside of the popup advanced-search window, this popup window is still there. You have to click close (x) button at the left side.

Another thing that is difference with Google, there is "Related Search" that is displayed at the right side, at the top of sponsor link. I don't know whether Google have this or not, as long as I experience, I haven't seen one. I am not clear what is this Related Search means, is it past search that has been done by other user before or what?..
